Presentation Description: The presenter will cover the basics of Closed-End Real Assets from a limited partner’s perspective and will compare them briefly to Private Equity Funds.

Presentation Objectives:

Gain a better understanding of the risk/return profile of these funds, and key risks of the real asset sub-asset classes.

Real Estate and Infrastructure, the largest sub-sectors of Real Assets, will be touched on briefly as they will be covered in detail in separate IMDDA classes. However, Agriculture, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, Timber, Water, and Shipping & Aviation will be covered in more depth.

Audience: Particularly of interest to staff at both institutional limited partners and sophisticated HNW investors. Also has applicability to staff at service providers and junior staff at fund managers interested in limited partner viewpoints.
